Q: Ok, so I bought a domain name and a hosting plan. Now what?
A: Most websites are made up of a series of interlinked html files, also called "webpages." Webpages can be created in two basic ways. Some people know html programming and write the code that makes the page. Other people use programs that are more like desktop software and the
program "writes" the code as the person designs what they want. Either way, to have a website means that you have pages that are saved as html files and that those files are "uploaded to a server." When you sign up for your
hosting plan, you will select a login and password. You can use any FTP program to upload your files to the server using your login and password.
